Heuvelman developed a service app for Hilton the Netherlands that enables the hotel chain to improve the service to its guests. Through the app, guests of the hotel can simply submit a service request to the employees via their tablet or smartphone during a meeting.
The service app is mostly used during meetings or events. Because the participants can submit requests through the app, they no longer need to leave the room in which they are located. Another advantage is that the app saves a lot of time. Because the requests arrive real-time in the Content Management System, they can immediately be passed on to the right employee of the hotel. They can act immediately, which shortens the waiting time of the guest.
The app can easily be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store or the iOS App Store. An event code is provided at the relevant location to log in to the app. All service requests such as ordering food and drinks can then be submitted to the request for technical support. The application then ends up in the accompanying web-based Content Management System (CMS) supplied by Heuvelman. The system, plus the app and server were completely set up by Heuvelman.
